Darth/Jedi Master ranking, and the conciquence -

Darth:

Firstly, on the Sith side, a person should be able to label themselves "Darth." But there should be a consiquence to the player so that there is not about 100,000,000 people making themselves "Darth."

This is all up for change, so when you read this please discuss this and try to say how it could or should work. Please dont just say "No" or "Not ganna happen." State why, and try to be argumenative, not pig headed. Thanks.

Seeing Revan was powerful in the force - one might think he was a Consular. However seeing he wielded a light saber and was extremely deadly one also might think he was a guardian.

I bring this up because there might be a problem. The problem comes from what was he? See if he was a consular then I want to role a consular and found out what happened to him. Wait tho he might be a guardian and to find out about him you may need to be a guardian. But on the other hand the trailer showed an imperial NPC, so do you need to be sith too find out what happened to him? If so a warrior or Inquisitor? or all 4 FS classes to get the complete story on Revan?

I find it not a problem to role all 4 but I do have a problem as to were to start. If there is a FS starting point on Revan then everyone and their grandmother will role that class first to get the story on him. Come on there are alot of Revan fans out there.

Just because the wiki states he was a jedi knight that really doesn't give what he was. According to lore all jedi must be knights before becoming a master, whether a guardian or consular. It also states he was a talented military tactician and strategist, does this mean he was a guardian?

Empire vs Republic - I am getting the impression that most PvPers will tend to roll a Sith/Empire charactor while most PvEers will be drawn to the Jedi/Republic. The purpose of this poll is to see if this is in fact correct. If this turns out to be the case then PvP will be skewed towards the Empire. How will this impact the game?

One possible result would be that people would be even less inclined than they already are to roll a Jedi, thus throwing the game even further out of balance. This could in turn cause the Dev's to nurf the Sith or give the Jedi some artifical advantage in an attempt to draw more people towards the Jedi. Of course this will rightly anger the Sith players. This could also lead to a cycle of nerf/counternurf that ends up destroying play balance (ala War and AoC) in an attempt to balance the numbers of players per faction.

Another possible outcome that some Sith PvPers would get bored with always having the advantage and change factions (roll Republic) in an attempt to find a greater challange. This would be the prefered outcome tho to be honest I dont think it would happen. More likely you'd have people just dropping the game, as happened in War, rather than rolling new toons.

History of the Sith and Jedi Masters - Hey Everyone! I felt like a large part of the reason why I loved the KOTOR games was because you could learn so much about old legends, like the Sith Tombs in Korriban in KOTORII, or the timeline they have right now on the website for TOR. So thinking about them got me thinking, what are your guys' favorite sith lords or jedi masters and why?
Personally, I love Revan because he was an amazing Jedi, became a Sith Lord respected by the Echani, and then had his/her memory wiped, and became a superpowerful Jedi that restored order in the Republic or again became the Sith lord, based on how you played KOTOR.

Why the lightside is good and why the darkside is bad -

It's Common Sense.
In movies and worlds and galaxies that are created, there needs to be story and such, right? In Star Wars, they created two main sides, the light and the dark, the good and the bad. Don't argue with this latest fact I pointed out because they even say it in the official movies.
The light side of the Force, the Jedi. The dark side of the Force, the Sith.
Light = Good = Jedi
Dark = Evil = Sith

Now I probably pushed a couple sith buttons, because they'll all come at me with 'how it depends on your point of view'. But hey, if you like the sith more, and try to argue about how they are good, you are just going to have to accept that you are on the evil, dark, bad, sith side.

But that is why this game will be awesome, you get to choose your side. I chose mine.
