I am needing to reformat/re-install Windows and I was wondering if SWToR had a file like WoW's w.t.f. file, so that I could save my personalized data like preferences, video settings, all that good stuff? Or is this all saved server side on SWToR?

Is this intended? Did Bioware ever offer an explanation for this?

On my server, especially in the lower brackets, the republic side is undermanned. So often a game will start 8 on 4, and it'll just continue. Even if people slowly trickle in, it tends to change nothing, as most games are decided in the first couple of minutes, but often times the game will just stay 8 on 4 for its entirety.

The worst part is, when you're outnumbered 2:1, sometimes its difficult to even get medals, especially in the lower level brackets when you may be missing key abilities for your class.

So, is there a reason these games don't end early anymore? Any explanation on this, or was this an intended change?

Ich hab ein neues Soundproblem. Vorweg: Es hat nichts mit dem alten Soundbug zu tun! Die Repair.exe kann ich nicht laufen lassen. Sie ist ausgegraut. Ich nehme an, dass sie keinen Anlass sieht, etwas zu reparieren^^

Es passierte quasi über Nacht. Ich logge mich ins Spiel ein ud stelle Fest, dass schon im Startbildschirm der Musiksound extrem leise ist. Pc und Boxen mal voll aufgedreht, hab ich dort und im Spiel gerade so "Zimmerlautstärke"! Treiber der Soundkarte sind aktuell! Lass ich Winamp oder Youtube laufen, fliegen mir bald die Boxen weg, so laut isses!

Irgendwelche Tipps oder Informationen dazu?

What is the point in having 4-man heroics on Voss and Corellia? Nobody wants to do them. I've been trying on several toons to get them done but nobody is interested. If I could solo them I would, but I can't because they're for 4 people, and some of them are pretty damned tough even with 4 level 50s. It's pointless. Make them 2-man instead and capable of being solo'd by a well-geared 50 and a companion, because that's the only way they'll ever get completed now with there being no LFG tool, a useless LFG system that nobody uses, low pop realms, and people who don't care about doing heroics.

what am looking for is a good tanking set up and also what armor i should use and what attachments to put in it if i can.

i do pvp alot so looking for a good set up for that and pve 2 different suits of armor prefered

As much as I want it to do and i am not afraid of any hard bosses, you made the failures in with this flash point incredibly annoying, no speeder allowed, spawning kilometers away from the kill.

And then we get to the first droid boss, and people that do hard mode operations with me, start asking "Why the hell are we wasting time here? Rakata chest? No problem!! We'll run through EV faster than trying to do this flashpoint."

Overreacting to a bunch of masochists that demand harder content is something i would like you to stop Bioware because you do not know the difference between hard and annoying. If my team mates find 30 min queues pvp preferable to this flashpoint that there is really something curious about Lost island..

1. Helmets and hats not appearing on Twi'leks after 1.2
2. Companions igniting lightsabers then walking arund with them. During cutscenes you can still see the lightsaber floating in the air.
3. After completing The False Emperor when atempting to turn in the mission in story mode, a bug can apparently stop you from activating the cutscene during the Ilum quest series.The cutscene will begin then immediately end.
4. Sith InquisitorLightsaber charge leaves behind the sound effect of activating it in the area that you entered combat.

So, been doing Wrong Savor quest in Belsavis - the one to defeat Kal Bedo and free some hostages. I go into quest area, and there walks the droid. I attack it, and suddenly his health doesn't drop. At first I thought there is something wrong with my character, but then I look at droid stats. "Lev 50 strong barrage droid " it says.

Managed to walk past it, by dying, and waiting for it to move out, then respawned and walked further into dungeon. According to bug report, they know of issue and "are investigating". Meanwhile, if you do that quest, be sure you don't have your next respawn timer on 10 mins :)

Since the latest patch no matter what time I try to play every 10 mins I get lag spikes up to 30k ms that last up to a minute. It is really frustrating especially when it happens during Flashpoints or PvP.

And before someone tells me that it is from my end the problem, it happens only in SWTOR not in any other MMO, no matter the connection to my router, wireless or gigabit LAN i get lag spikes. The correct ports are open and exe are firewall exempted.

langsam ist unsere geduld am Ende auf dem Server Brianna. Es sind kaum Spieler vorhanden.

Wir spielen jetzt schon ein Halbes Jahr ca. auf Brianna und die Spielerzahlen warn Definitiv mal viel höher BG's gingen im Minutentakt auf etc.

Jetz ist die Lage seit ungefair 1,5 Wochen so das Wartezeiten für Battlegrounds ~40Min Wartezeit haben (Auch zur Primetime).


Es ist einfach zeit für Serverzusammenlegung das kann so nicht weitergehen wir bezahlen für ein MMO und sind auf dem PVP Server um PvP auch zu Betreiben aber das kann mann nur wenn genug andere Spieler auch PvP machen da keine vorhanden sind ist das leider ein bisschen schwer! Ich will jetzt langsam mal eine klare ansage von einen "Gelben" haben. Wir schauen uns das nichtmehr lang an denn gehen wieder sonstwieviel Spieler nicht nur von Brianna das wir bestimmt nicht der einzigste Server sind wo kaum - garnichtsmehr los ist...!

Hello I just finish Mandalorian raiders FP and on we observed nice bug on the last boss. We dpsed him till 30% without any turrets to go out and after that he just ported through 3 spawn points of the turrets, 6 turrets came out and start nuking us. We manage to nuke the boss before the turrets to kill us. After we go for the loot the turrets were still up and start firing us again. Finally we manage to kill them but was... let say unpleasent experience ^^.
First time i observe it and was surprised to see this bug. Anyway I hope it was only this time and I wont observe it anymore. The party was from Commando 2 Jedi Guardians and 1 Jedi Sage all lvl 24.

After recently going through Esseles a few times, I've been experiencing a few glitches, along with the other people I was playing with. In the first run, our mouse pointers disappeared from the screen for 30 seconds. In the second run, when the ambassador walks into the room, we couldn't see any of the 3 conversation options and the camera was pointed toward the sealing. We also experienced another glitch with the ambassador. In a later conversation near the end of the flashpoint after you defeat the sith apprentice, she started rolling on the floor and jumping back up...

I'm just putting these out there so that they may be fixed sometime in the future.

Since I started playing the game recently, I've been having trouble loading my game & quite often get a blank server window. While trolling the forums for a solution, I have noticed that it's not an uncommon problem. I have tried ALL the fixes (fixlauncher, repair, opening ports in firewall in both my router and anti-virus, reinstalled, among others) with no success. Until today.

Many of the sites I have read tell you to make sure to run your game as an administator. When you open your launcher, it asks permission regardless if you run it as an administator or not. This is misleading because you get the impression you are running the game as an administrator. What you need to do is find the folder with the swtor.exe file, right click it and select properties. In the compatability tab, make sure 'run the program as administrator' is ticked, then apply. I kicked myself when I found this solution and think if this was made clearer in the troubleshooting sections then it would help alot of people.

Got rataka power, surge and crit adrenaline.

Obviously can only use 1 at a time and with a 3 minute cooldown.

Im a kinetic/balance hybrid, but have very good burst even without adrenalines. But which one should i be consuming to maximise damage potential ??

I just want to point out that I think that the current operation loot (Campaign) is good enough to be hardmode loot.

It happens way too often that when we kill a boss people actually have to compare if the campaign is better than their rakata. A new tier of set items should always be better and the difference should be bigger than few main stat or switching secondary stats around. I know many of you know what i'm talking about but just for an example some gunslinger campaign items reduce cunning and increase endurance or healers get reduced power and increased crit or surge. New items should increase stats across the board.

Few players from our guild have already stopped raiding becouse raiding just isnt fun when the rewards are so bad.

I do hope bioware addresses this issue with itemization. I know that with smaller item upgrades the operation can still be a challenge even with full campaign but getting loot just isnt fun :(

Hey guys. I know there are prolly a quadrillion threads on this already, but I'm lvl'ing a jug tank and I plan to PvP with him. I was wondering if anybody had the ##/##/## setup and a link to show what points were put where, or a link to one of the threads already in progress about this question. I guess at this point, I'm looking to get more or less the cookie cutter PvP tank build if there is one, and tweak it to my personal play style if need be. Thanks in advance.

We are all getting sick and tired of waiting for battleground que's. Most of which is why you are losing so many players. And combining 2 servers isn't gonna cut it, combine more. If this is not resolved soon, then you'll be losing another subscription.:mad:

So basically i have BM power relic, BM surge/crit relic which also gives 51 expertise. Im in a dilema whether to have both of these equip or drop one for the matrix shard.

When the shard is equip i have an increased max dps by 10 or so, with an increase in health also.

But the relics will provide expertise (which puts me over 1100), and also increased burst time (using one after the other).

What do you guys reccomend ??
