[ Προαπαιτούμενα για να παίξετε το Star Wars: The Old Republic]

Καταρχήν να διευκρινίσω ότι για να παίξετε το Swtor ΔΕΝ αρκεί απλά να αγοράσετε το παιχνίδι . Χρειάζεται να έχετε στην διάθεση σας είτε πιστωτική κάρτα, είτε προπληρωμένη ,είτε κάρτα παιχνιδιού των δυο μηνών .Ο λόγος είναι οτι το παιχνίδι χρειάζεται να έχετε ενεργή συνδρομή και αυτό επιτυγχάνεται μόνο με τη ύπαρξη είτε πιστωτικής / προπληρωμένης κάρτας είτε με την κάρτα παιχνιδιού ( γνωστή και ως game card ) .

Στον λογαριασμό του παιχνιδιού φυσικά και δέχεται paypal λογαριασμό αλλά όπως γνωρίζετε για να έχετε έναν ενεργό λογαριασμό paypal θα πρέπει να τον συνδέσετε με κάποια πιστωτική / προπληρωμένη κάρτα.

Διαδικασία ενεργοποίησης του λογαριασμού του παιχνιδιού

1. Δημιουργήστε έναν λογαριασμό στην ηλεκτρονική διεύθυνση SWTOR.com (στην περίπτωση που δεν εχετε )

2. Κάντε κλικ στην λέξη 'My Account' ή ακολουθήστε το λινκ αυτό :

• Συμπληρώστε τα πεδία που σας ζητεί ( Όνομα , Επίθετο , Διεύθυνση κ.λ.π ) . Πολύ σημαντικό είναι να βάλετε ένα τηλέφωνο που να ισχύει σε περίπτωση που χρειαστούν να επικοινωνήσουν μαζί σας αν έχετε κάποιο πρόβλημα .

• Συμπληρώστε τρεις (3) έως πέντε (5) ερωτήσεις που θα σας ζητήσει και ( Πολύ σημαντικό επίσης ) γράψτε τις κάπου . ο λόγος είναι ότι σας τις ζητεί συνέχεια και μέσα στο παιχνίδι και στο site.

• Προσθέστε τον κωδικό του παιχνιδιού που μόλις αγοράσατε και θα τον βρείτε μέσα στο κουτί ( Redeem ) . Προσοχή μην προσπαθήσετε να βάλετε ξανά τον κωδικό απο την προαναγγελία (αν το είχατε προαναγγείλει)

• Εγγραφείτε για μια συνδρομή ( σε αυτό το σημείο χρειάζεται να έχετε την πιστωτική / προπληρωμένη κάρτα ) ή εισάγετε τον κωδικό από την Προπληρωμένη κάρτα Παιχνιδιού

My name is James Baldwin, and I am a network engineer here at BioWare. We are continuing to look into reports regarding ongoing latency and lag issues within the game. While not all in-game lag issues are caused by network latency, we have experienced several network events in the past weeks which have negatively impacted play experience for some. We are continuing to work with our vendors to investigate ongoing issues as well as identifying end user ISPs who may be experiencing high latency or packet loss.

To help us more quickly identify these issues I am beginning this thread to better organize our network latency investigation.

BioWare Interested in Mac Version of Star Wars: The Old Republic

The chances are pretty good we’ll eventually see a Mac version of the game.

Star Wars: The Old Republic launched at the tail end of December 2011 and is being enjoyed by millions of PC gamers. But what about all the Mac owners left out in the cold? Well, as of right now there are no definitive plans, but BioWare has not turned a complete cold shoulder to OS X owners.

During a recent interview in midtown Manhattan (via Massively), BioWare’s studio heads Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk mentioned that they are fully aware of the outcry for a Mac version of Star Wars: The Old Republic. They also understand the audience desiring such a product is quite large, which would, in turn, result in big money. Therefore, through simple logic, a Mac version of Star Wars: The Old Republic is in the cards, but it’s not something BioWare is ready to fully commit to just yet.

"We know there's a big Mac audience of BioWare fans … we know that's an important and large audience. And we want to serve that audience," said Muzyka. However, Zeschuk followed up that with a simple reply, “I’d say ‘not yet.’”

As of right now, impatient Mac owners can run The Old Republic on their machines using a program such as Parallels or Boot Camp; however, that’s not an optimal setup. So let’s hope somewhere down the road us Mac owners can travel to a galaxy far, far away. On that note, I’ll leave you with one final quote of hope from BioWare’s Zeschuk:

1. Darth Vader

Today we received our actual copy of the SWTOR game! Everyone who pre-ordered the game will get it in their hands in the next couple of days.

As you know, the game comes in two versions: normal edition and collector's edition. We managed to get our hands on both of them, and here's what you'll expect to find inside the boxes:

Nothing special about this game case. It is a normal DVD case with the disks and no manual at all. I was expecting something better from Bioware/EA...

The contents of the case: Three (3) DVDs, one keyboard layout card and of course the access code for the game (not in the picture).
