Today we received our actual copy of the SWTOR game! Everyone who pre-ordered the game will get it in their hands in the next couple of days.

As you know, the game comes in two versions: normal edition and collector's edition. We managed to get our hands on both of them, and here's what you'll expect to find inside the boxes:

Nothing special about this game case. It is a normal DVD case with the disks and no manual at all. I was expecting something better from Bioware/EA...

This first image on the left is a normal plastic double-DVD case. .The sticker says: "Official Game Access does not begin until Dec. 20 2011"

The contents of the case: Three (3) DVDs, one keyboard layout card and of course the access code for the game (not in the picture).

Here's what's all the money is about! What the normal edition lacks, the collector's edition has! But just like the normal edition, there is no manual here either. Bad Bioware, bad!

The box: Check its size compared to a two-person couch! Big, huh?
There is removable a plastic cover around the box, with instructions and a picture of the contents.
Note: The box design reminds me of the shape of a holocron. Coincidence?

The soundtrack: a paper case which holds the CD soundtrack. Sixteen (16) tracks of pure Star Wars fun!

Note: Is it just me or do I see some possible expansions there??

The disks: Unlike the normal version, the collector's edition comes with a metal DVD case! Not bad!

The contents: Three (3) DVDs, the access code, instructions for the security key (see below) and a nice piece of paper that says that I should download the manual from the bioware website. (Bad Bioware! )

The key: This is the security key which is used as extra means of our account protection.

There it is, folks! Everything you will find in the two versions of the game. Now, what's left for us is the long (but also short) until the 20th of December, unless you are one of the lucky few who pre-ordered early and will manage to grab early access for the game.
