Is EA preparing a new MMO project?
Apparently EA is starting to recruit for another MMO it wants in the works. Although, it is important to keep in mind that the production time needed would most likely be several years and it wouldn't create an immediate impact on TOR, but it may in the long run if the game's really being designed to keep a long term player base.

Insinuating it may be a new incarnation of EA's popular UO franchise, the first WEB MMORPG made which holds not only several Guinness records but is known to be one of the most pivotal MMO games to date.
"It will be huge. It will be monumental and the technical challenges from the size, volume, and touch points will be awesome.
The EA MMO that we do know about the BioWare-developed Star Wars: The Old Republic is due for launch in the second half of the year.
Question-marks - that's what hangs over EA's decision to stop people giving away Ultima IV for free; that's what hangs over BioWare-Mythic creative director Paul Barnett (formerly a Warhammer Online preacher) mentioning "secret projects"; that's what hangs over the mystery MMO an EA job posting exposed yesterday.
Are all three events linked? Is EA making a new Web Ultima Online?
It's a leap of faith, but why else would EA suddenly demand freeware sites stop distributing Ultima IV, a game that's been openly available to fans for years - and a game around which a enthusiastic mod scene has developed?"
This is apparently a big deal and very hush-hush at the moment. Obviously the game is still several years off ( or not? ) but I found it interesting enough to post here.

με απαντηση της EA ανακοινωθηκε σημερα οτι ετοιμαζουν το sims για το facebook.

συγκεκριμένα ανακοινωσαν οτι περιμενουν εκτοξευση των παιχνιδιων αυτου του ειδους και οτι στην αγορα των browser games ξοδευονται καθε χρονο γυρω στα 2 δις δολαρια .....

μπορει να βγαλουν και το sims online . αυτο που καταλαβα απο τα περιεχομενα ειναι οτι σιγουρα προσανατολιζονται σε web προγραμματιστη .

γιατι να μην κανει και τα δυο ? και web uo & web sims online για το facebook και ανεξαρτητο φυσικα σαν browser game.
αν κανει κατι τετοιο την blizzard θα την εξαφανισει απο τον χαρτη πολυ συντομα ,μετα τα τελευταια ασχημα νεα για το wow
nice find lord ! i voted only the old EA titles and the reason is that the Hardware requiremts feet the nowdays web browsers possibilities .

ωραια ... που πηγε το poll , οεο ????? chris τα νευρα μου ..............
sorry mate αλλά αυτά έχουν οι βιασύνες . το είχα ενσωματώσει στο τύπο περιεχομένου blog και έκανε conflict με άλλες λειτουργίες του Blog.
έφτιαξα καινούργιο τύπο περιεχομένου και μόνο αυτό θα έχει δυνατότητα να ενσωματώνεις poll.
αν θες μπορώ να αποκαταστήσω την ζημιά μεταφορτωνόντας το ήδη υπάρχων σε νέο post με το καινούριο τύπο
καλα δεν πειραζει (ουτως η αλλως αυτο που ηθελα να δω το ειδα) , αρκει να το φτιαξεις σωστα αυτην την φορα

ok το ερωτημα τελικα απαντηθηκε.

καπου διαβασα οτι τα περισσοτερα λεφτα της η EA τα εβγαλε απο τα παιχνιδια web browser
