You are logged in from a region we do not allow someone to play from. I didn't think you guys were IP blocking? Or is this just a "client isn't up yet" bug? Feedback would be great since I'll still be here for early access and I want my time/char names. Also, any Aussies tried logging in yet? Be interesting to hear if anyone back home is getting this erro |
We're looking into reports on this right now.
If anyone else experiences this issue, please email support@swtor.com, listing where you're attempting to login from and the exact error message you've been given. Thank you!

TOR Launch: 4 Friends, 4 Classes same faction

TOR Launch: 4 Friends, 4 Classes same faction -

With all the focus on story in this game, and above all the individual story of each class has gotten me a bit worried. Add the fact that each class (correct me if i'm wrong) will have their own starting planets to.
What if me and three of my friends buy TOR to play, quest and level up together, but as different classes, of course of the same faction allignment.
Will that even be possible? I can accept that the first few levels we're stuck in our respective starting zones. But after that, can we go thru the story/quests together until max level? Or do we have to go our own path and just maybe occasionally we'll end up in a shared quest?
Again, if there are ongoing discussions on this matter please point me there. And for you out there who live for flaming folks posting something already on the boards, yeah well..

The Official confirmation
"First, thank you to all of you who participated in our Comic-Con Reveal mission! While we didn't quite make the numbers, we definitely saw how excited the community is about this and how everyone came together. After all of that, there's no way we could hold back with our special reveal at Comic-Con!
If you’ve been following the news coming out of the Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ panel at Comic-Con International, you’ve heard the announcement that we will indeed have Space Combat as part of the TOR experience! But what does that mean? Space combat is an alternative gameplay experience to the primary game of storytelling, questing, and ground-based combat. In space combat, you fly your personal ship to various “hot spots” on your galaxy map. From there, you will blast your way through asteroid fields, enemy fighters, frigates, destroyers, and a variety of other obstacles that will evoke memories of some of the great Star Wars™ space battles.
